Organic Standards

The Welsh Organic Scheme has been set up to enable Welsh farmers and growers to achieve organic certification status by conforming to operating standards approved by DEFRA.

Certification is monitored by Quality Welsh Food Certification Ltd, a Certification Body accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to ISO17065 General Requirements for Bodies Operating Product Certification Systems (UKASCertificate0146).

Farm Records

The Farm Records and Animal Health plan facility is available to all producers in the WLBP lamb, beef (FAWL) scheme, dairy schemes and the Welsh Organic scheme.
